Need to eat more bread

What do other breeders use for tags to mark crosses?  I use bread ties.  Re-use of stuff that would normally get thrown away.  They travel with the seeds and bulbs through planting in the garden.  Trouble is I’m running out this season.

Today In Washington State Hawiian Skies.

 It’s been blooming two weeks so way past its prime.  It’s been castrated, torn in the wind, but check out that corona.  We like blooming them big in WA.

Last Daffodil of the Season

Attached is a photo of ‘Fiona Jean’ 7 Y-GYY George Morrill (1973), supposedly a season 3 daffodil.  However, here it is in bloom at the end of the season in Central Mississippi.  This has been a great season in Clinton, MS .…
