N. jonquilla minor x N. elegans

  Today I crossed these two plants to get nice seedlings. Some of these shall produce unreduced pollen which can be of great interest for combining them with tetraploid standard daffodils. A project for about 12 years which  will be successful when the crosses develop seeds. Theo

deNavarro Hybridizing Records Added to Dafflibrary

The hybridizing records of J. M. deNavarro, of England, from 1944 to 1972 have been added to www.dafflibrary.org.  They are copies of handwritten lists of crosses made so cannot be searched.  You’ll find them under Science/Hybridizing and under People/deNavarro.
