Koopowitz Collection Ribbon winner

The Premier Miniature Collection has been renamed the Koopowitz Miniature Collection in honor of Harold Koopowitz who has done extensive hybridizing to bring more colors and forms into miniature cultivars. As I mentioned in a previous post, Harold was overseas at the time of the Livermore show and was therefore unavailable to try to be the first winner of the newly renamed award. Unless someone won it at the Washington/Opalousas, Louisiana show, that privilege went to Jon Kawaguchi whose collection contained:

Higgins 08/05M 7Y-Y;

  1. Congratulations to all the Exhibitors and Awardees at the 2018 Livermore Show! Thank you Kirby for your beautiful photos and extensive show reporting.

  2. I’m a happy camper with the Livermore show as my eagle eyes picked up three of my miniature seedling, and one of my named standard seedlings in the winning collections.

    Thanks guys. I can usually see one of my seedlings and recognize them a mile away. They are my babies.
