ADS presentation at CAPS

In March, ADS President Becky Fox Matthews attended the 2nd Annual meeting of the Coalition of American Plant Societies (CAPS).  At this two day meeting, Becky gave a presentation about the ADS’s use of technology, featuring DaffSeek, Daffnet, and DaffLibrary.

CAPS is a forum for plant societies such as the American Rose Society, the Herb Society, the ADS and others to gather and exchange ideas and share best practices.

Becky, you made quite an impression because in the May/June issue of the American Horticultural Society’s publication, the only presentation featured  was yours and specifically about DaffSeek!

  1. Fantastic, we all know how wonderful daffseek is; now other plant societies will too!!

  2. You can read more about the CAPS meeting in the ADS June Journal on my Conversation page. There is an exciting project in the works that ties in with one of the other presentations at that meeting.

If you’re not a member of ADS, you may not be aware that The Daffodil Journal is now a full color publication. I invite you to join ADS and see how beautiful it is! Every issue is packed with colorful images of daffodils, daffodil gardens, and daffodil people. Look for “Join the ADS” near the bottom of this page. As you will see in the June issue, Loyce McKenzie, the Journal editor points out that “The June issue has celebrated daffodil people and their gardens. In September the spotlight will focus on the daffodil itself, on the show bench and in the garden.”
