A little more nature

This is a photo of the larva of the Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly, on it’s host plant, the Paw-Paw taken a couple of days ago. Sorry I don’t have a photo of the adult. Tiger Swallowtails, Spice Bush Swallowtails and Pipe Vine Swallowtails are enjoyed also as I make my rounds outside during the summer.

  1. Larry what wonderful photographs. We lived in Decatur Illinois in 1994 and saw some truly gorgeous butterflies but you obviously have some even more amazing ones in Mississippi, thank you for the postings.
