Auction Bulbs Donated for the Little Rock Convention

Below are two of the bulbs donated for the A. D. S. Bulb Auction held at the upcoming Convention in Little Rock.

V02-61-10   2Y-R, = [(Loch Hope x No Peer) x Cabachon], S. J. Vinisky, USA, Season 1-2

INTERMEDIATE – First Release. Murray Evans ‘Cabachon’ for years has been the first daffodil with color to open for us. I’ve used it for early 2Y-R’s and tried hard to keep the earliness along with improving the form. This Selection is notable for the earliness as it blooms just ahead of ‘Cabachon’. It measures 66mm (about 2.6″) in diameter which makes it a very early Intermediate. Suitable for early shows and an early distinct addition to the Intermediates.

V01-13-1   11aY-Y, = Small Talk x Goldsplit, S. J. Vinisky, USA, Season 1-2,

MINIATURE – First Release. Measuring 44mm (about 1 3/4″) in diameter, this split corona should easily qualify as a Miniature. Very reasonable exhibition form imparted from David Jackson’s ‘Goldsplit’. This may well be a wonderful collection flower for Miniature entries. Stem height is about 7″ tall. Has been an excellent grower and rapid increaser.
