6564 is the same location as us planting daffodils in March. 6566 is the same shot looking back over the rows of Trevithian and Sweetness and Golden Dawn.
The problem I see with the Rudebeckia’s is that there is a whole host of other spring weeds and flowers and grasses that come up and bloom between the time the daffodils bloom and the time the daffodil foliage dies down.
You all may not believe this but we JUST mowed our front yard two weeks ago with a tractor and bush hog type mower. We have 2&1/2 acres of daffodils for a front yard. The yard was a LOT deeper in “wildflowers and weeds” when we mowed than what these two shots show….Our neighbors HATE our yard……or maybe it is just me:-)) Keith Kridler Northeast Texas
