Does anyone know of a daffodil called Crimpete? I am trying to identify daffodils growing the the poet Anne Spencer’s restored garden in Lynchburg, VA. When the first restoration work was done in 1983, about three dozen varieties of daffodil were planted. There is only a hand-written list of the names. Most are varieties introduced before 1975; quite a few were bred by Grant Mitsch. I’ve found most in Daffseek or Show and Grow, but cannot find Crimpete. It is not Crimpelene, as that is on the list separately. Any ideas?
