Daffodil flag flying in Southaven MS

Thought this new fall blooming  hybrid might be interesting. Link 31 x viridiflorus. Appx. 1 to 1  3/8 inch dia. Not sure what Link 31 is. Maybe serotinus? Am enclosing a photo of it also. Miniatus and viridiflorus are in bloom also.

  1. Larry, get ready for these to bloom again next year, because it’s very likely there will be an officially sanctioned ADS Fall Show at the FBM in Indianapolis!!!

P.S. And if you still have any autumn bloomers, bring them to Clinton to the fall meeting of CMDS on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015! Which is two and a half weeks!

  2. Yes the Fall Board Meeting next year will have the first experimental ADS sanctioned Fall daffodil show. We voted on it in Minneapolis FBM.  We have also relaxed the criteria for growing or obtaining your flowers for that show. We don’t care how you get your flowers! You can even buy them if you can find a person selling flowers at that time. There will also be a few talks on how to grow and bloom these autumn beauties particularly for those of you who live in harsh climates.  I see a fun time ahead.
