The race is a tie for the earliest (latest?) daffodil blooms of the season! A jonquil seedling in the indoor/outdoor cart (top two photos) and a species N. assoanus in the garden (bottom two photos) are both in bloom today. I may have to cut the outdoor stem before Thursday night’s predicted return to winter.
