Daffodils still in tight bud at the Haeffner’s fields

Highly paid weathermen, using Billions of $ worth of NASA weather satellites, access to one of the largest computer networks world wide, predicted high heat and torrential rains for the World Tour field trips. As you can see in the photos many of the “daffodils” were still tightly wrapped in “bud”. Many of the “Daffodils” were barely showing any color in the cup. Some were standing tall, ready to be picked and shipped in the “pencil stage” to flower shops. Some buds were already beginning to “nod down” going into the “goose neck” stage. Some appeared to be more weatherproof/wind proof. Some daffodils appeared to be “aging a bit or possibly they are historic ”. There appeared to be some just a little too young?
