Don’t they sell refrigerators in Roswell or Knoxville or Little Rock???

Of course I have sympathy for the White Hall group, losing the leadership of their beloved key figure.

But what’s with you other folks? Can you really have a show any year just by going out and picking winning flowers fresh from the garden?
Incredible.

I’d suggest you plan your next local program based on the article, with details and pictures, by Margaret Macneale, in a Daffodil Journal
from the year 2012, or perhaps 2011, about how the Minnesota group, facing always the last show of the year, enterwined with the Mother’s Day weekend, and it seems to me that something happened and their favored venue had to postpone for two weeks.
Well, the whole group participated in a serious, highly successful job of saving the whole show in their home refrigerators.

(forget frost-free–doesn’t matter)

  1. Lois, none of us wants to cancel a show.   Because cancellations negatively affect our clubs AND our communities, these decisions are not lightly made. They are, however, made based on the reality of our current season.
