fertile tetraploid tazetta pollen

If any breeders out there want to make some fertile tazetta hybrids with regular daffodils, these should be ideal. Right now I have collected an excess of pollen from several clones of (Autumn Colors x my hexaploid conversion of “Chinese Sacred Lily”). They have all the superior scent of the Chinese paren. Pollen can be frozen until you need to use it. You need to have a climate where temperatures are up around high 60’s or better yet above 70 degrees F. on the day you pollinate for this type of pollen to work. Please email me ASAP, and yes I am willing to send overseas. Contact title=

  1. Hi Bill,

I’m so envious! But I do have your seeds coming along nicely. Right now they are coping with the high temperatures here better than anything else.
