Flower arrangements at the convention

Thanks to Donna, who spearheaded, ramrodded, whatever is the right past-tense verb, for the flower arrangements, under some difficulties of time and space and flowers and refrigerators.

The Mississippi lady who carried the most responsibility was Frances Morse—I think she’s the only true flower arranger we have left in our membership. I know Mary Graves brought plant materials.

They were a bit non-plussed, experiencing a show where the horticulture is so much and the flower arrangements are, to be honest, an afterthought. The arrangements not only were beautiful—that was a given with everyone who worked on them in place–but they were STILL beautiful on Sunday night.
