Flowering in Canberra now – Part 10

A few more photos of what is flowering for us. Lots of very big bulbocodiums flowering at the moment.

Clay, I can assure you that we have way too many daffodils for any sane person!!  I will see if I can take a photo that shows the true extent of our daffodil paddock. The biggest problem is spotting the good ones. I found our best ever 6Y-YO miniature while I was looking at some bulbocodiums. The miniature was in a box with standards so it was hidden by the foliage.

As for the photos. I find that my Nikon Coolpix 500 is ideal for taking photos of intermediates and above but that it struggles with our smallest miniatures so we will probably upgrade to a top quality camera with a quality macro lense for next season.

    Love the pictures.  I grow a lot of bulbocodium, as you know, and I enjoy seeing the good ones.
