Future Display Garden?

Hello Daffnet,

What better time than now, while the daffodils are flowering, to evaluate your garden, your local public parks and botanical gardens, and perhaps even a friend’s collection, is there to determine if one or all qualify as an American Daffodil Society Display Garden?   Public and private gardens alike comprise the list of fine collections; why not add yours?  For more information on the ADS Display Garden program, please visit this link http://www.daffodilusa.org/displaygardenprogram/displaygardenoverview.html

Requests may be submitted at any time.  However, those submitted to me, for review prior to July 2013, can be reviewed in time for final review and approval by the Board of Directors at the ADS Fall Board meeting in September.  Awarded submissions will be sent an ADS Display Garden sign in time for the return of your display’s floral glory in the spring of 2014.  Don’t delay!

If you have any questions, and especially if  you wish to participate but you’re not quite ready currently and you could use some guidance on accomplishing this goal, feel free to e-mail me privately at title=.  International gardens are also eligible as long as you meet the criteria (including being a member of the American Daffodil Society).

Please bring greater awareness to daffodils and to the American Daffodil Society by participting in the Display Garden program.  It’s fun, it’s rewarding, it’s supportive, and it’s free!

Looking forward to hearing from you soon,

Jason Delaney, ADS Display Garden Program chair   title=
