Pollination of flowers/Ultra violet light seen by pollinators

My opinion is that the ‘February Gold’-type daffodil used is quite
virused, and it’s the virus that’s causing the streaking. Note the
absolute and erratic color streaking in the daffodil, versus the smooth
color shading in other flowers that tend to be grown from seed, thus
greatly increasing their odds of being clean, virus-free plants.

I think this is very interesting to note that, if I am correct, UV
lighting could possibly be a much easier determination for the health of
a plant than DAS ELISA testing. Just a thought.
