There has been quite a lot of interest of late in classes at our National Shows for Historics. Reg Cull has put forward a suggestion which Executive is considering. There will be 4 classes for historics
- Cultivars pre 1900 to be known as Heritage
- Cultivars 1900 – 1939 to be known as Vintage
- Cultivars 1940 – 1960 known as Classic
- Trophy Class – 3 Heritage, 3 Vintage, 3 Classic, One or more varieties, 3 vases
There is still some debate on whether the Trophy class should be for six or nine but the rest has been approved. I hope that we can find time to discuss this move with others interested in Historics at Murphys.
