There are several varieties that have opened in the last few days that viewers may be interested in. Jane is the first of the Colin Crotty miniature division 6’s to flower this season. This flowers have only just opened, the perianth will whiten considerably. It has a beautiful long trumpet and is a very good grower. An added bonus is that it sets seed quite readily. The second flower is a first flowering seedling bred from Julia Jane x Smarple. It is a large flower measuring 40mm across white a beautiful frilled edge, I am very pleased with this one.

Rain is on the way this week, this will be very welcome as the bulbs are really needing a good drink. Season is still late here, warm rain will really bring them on.
