Installation of new ADS server

Tomorrow, Friday June 4th, we will replace the current ADS server with a new one with much greater performance and storage capacity.
The ADS server has been located in a San Francisco data-center for three years and before that at the NetVista Info Corp. office in Concord, California. Although we have been having a lot of trouble with our old server hardware, the data-center has never lost power or networks and is considered the premier hosting site in San Francisco.
We have attempted to duplicate, where appropriate, the functions and software configuration of the old server on the new server. I anticipate that the web sites will work correctly from the start. The mail server and the mailing lists may need more configuration, but since I have extensively tested them off the Internet, I am hopeful they will work correctly too.
To help us synchronize mail, we will take the mail server down tomorrow morning ahead of the actual server hardware replacement. I anticipate doing that about 9:00 AM PST. The actual hardware replacement will be in the midday to afternoon time-frame.
The new server will also introduce a new version DaffSeek which Nancy Tackett will describe tomorrow.
I expect the new ADS server hardware to be up and operating by tomorrow evening.
Thank you,
Ben
