Joe’s Show

Another great time at Joe Hamm’s barn yesterday. The most unusual entry in the show was Suzy Wert’s Throckmorton. Upon the first look it seemed like a collection of 15 poeticus cultivars. However, it was 10 poeticus culitvars, two species (poeticus) and the other 3 I think were division 3.  It was amazing. Who ever thought there were at least 10 poeticus cultivars of different color codes. It seems like the majority of the ones I grow are gyrs. As I think of this, it is the most unusual entry I have ever seen.

Good job Suzy. I am sure Tom will be posting a picture of it in the near future.

  1. Thanks, Naomi. I had fun planning the exhibit and putting it together. Joe’s Barn Show really was a lot of fun. This year we were joined by Celia Jones from Louisiana! Now that’s a long way to travel for a show!
