Keira Bulbs’ Daffodil Paddock

Hi

Clay here is our daffodil paddock. Those who visited today seemed surprised by the number of daffodils we grow so that suggests we grow a lot! Still plenty flowering despite adverse weather conditions.

I have been selecting out some giant bulbocodiums. We have another truly giant one flowering that impressed all the visitors today. I need to take a photograph for you all.

  1. Graham,

Thanks for the pictures of your daffodil paddocks.  I enjoyed your Canberra Show Part I as well.

I have done very well here with bulbocodiums.  Maybe you can add some of those giant bulbocodiums to you list this winter.

I spent the last few days remaking my daffodil beds that I dug this spring.  I had tilled them out, raked them flat and left them for the summer to bake.  Not it’s adding organic matter, fertilizer, lime and creating the beds again for planting sometime in late Nov and early Dec.

    Clay
