Larry Force and the Texas Show

I am posting on behalf of the entire Texas Daffodil Society who all worked so very hard to make our show last weekend a surprisingly good success. Larry, thank you for attending and for bringing some of the most perfect miniatures in existence. Larry’s collections were the main attraction of the show. Larry won every possible ribbon for miniatures and for hybridizers exhibiting their own creations. Picture this: perfectly sculpted porcelain thimbles of exquisite color and proportion. I hope that pictures of the entries will be posted soon. Larry hasn’t registered any of these works of art. Please do so! Larry and his mother flew in from Mississippi to exhibit. Other hybridizers of miniatures should track down the full set of photos. The only missing color and form variations were the pink cupped cultivars which had not yet begun to open for Larry.

Again, thanks for sharing your talent with us, and thanks for doing your hybridizing so diligently. Angels must sigh as they gaze on your raised beds in flower. Annette Parker

  1. Folks,

Oh my gosh, I must respond here. Though I truly appreciate her kind remarks. Annette, bless her heart went somewhat overboard here.  Most of my miniatures were just white and yellow one’s and six’s. Hope to have more color as the season progresses. It has been a tough season so far considering the weather.

Hope to see everyone at the National Convention.

    Regards,

    Larry
