This year the late show was held in Omagh at Brian Duncan’s. This is a very informal show allowing members to meet and show any late flowers they have. Classes are made up on the day and some multi vase entries may be combined efforts. More a day to admire the last of the flowers for another season and discuss the merits of the various flowers on show. Brian Duncan on his home patch had assembled a magnificent display of daffodils.
Some blooms that caught my eye
A couple of flowers showing pink in the perianth
A great end to the 2015 season. Many thanks to Brian and Betty for their hospitality.

Many thanks for posting the photographs of the flowers at the Irish Shows, appreciate you efforts. Be nice to come over for one of your late shows at some point in the future.

Thanks for all the postings Derrick . A very good photo of PINK HAZE that certainly shows the flush in the perianth .I find both pink and orange flushed perianths quite intriguing and have discussed this with leading Kiwi growers Colin Crotty and John Hunter . Both feel , as I do , that if this factor was worked on for another 5 – 6 generations , this flush could really be intensified and give some beautiful , truely all pink flowers .
Oh for another 50 years . Cheers John .
