Lawrence Trevanion exhibited a number of his fertile bulbocodium hybrids at the Canberra Show. The judges preferred the bulbocodiums that did not have wide perianths. Lawrence’s new hybrids add an extra element to the bulbocodium classes. We have a few seedlings with very wide perianths that are a product of traditional hybridising techniques.
