As would be expected at an early season show , the div 2 Redcups were at their peak . The class for a vase of 3 stems redcups had 10 bright entries — surprisingly there were no mixed vases .Also of note was that all the vases were N Z raised .Jamore led with 3 , Cameo Frills had 2 , then one each of Mason Road , Feverpitch , Valley Glow , Egmont King and Kiwi Gossip . The class was intentionally positioned to be the first look into the hall and made a warm , bright entrance .The winner was a bigger vase of Jamore , The very round Valley Glow was second and Cameo Frills placed third .
The vases are , from top , left to right .Feverpitch ; Mason Road ; Jamore , ; Middle – Kiwi Gossip ; Cameo Frills , Valley Glow . Bottom , Egmont Kingg , Cameo Frills and 2 x Jamore . The winner was the bottom right Jamore .
To my eye , the brightest vase was the unplaced Mason Road .
Also noted in the Collections was a very nice Aussie , Terminator .
The prem 2 Y – O , Valley Glow came from the single blooms .
