The Otaki Horticultural Society had our Daffodil Show on Friday , 2 September , – an early show date but suited by an early season . We have had a warm , very wet winter and early spring and all growers reported that flowers were taller and larger than most seasons .Entry numbers were high with 125 singles and 69 vases 3 ; a healthy total of 332 blooms awaiting judge Wayne Hughes , down from Whanganui .
