THanks for the black spot pictures. I did not realize many had them ( what percentage roughly from the large daffodils?) One can now wonder what character is connected with this black spot on the chromosome that has been selected for that still so many shows these black spots. Just as all “red/pink” comes from N poeticus it seems N hispanicus shows up in these black spots. It is just as James Akers says N hispanicus has black spots N pseudonarcissus does not have them.
