This is now named ‘Coral Ringlet’. It is a cross of Cantabile x Verdant Meadow. The rim has a bright coral pink coloration. There are photos from today and last year. It may be an ideal flower to illustrate the dilemma that our friends at the RHS faced in trying to (re)define Narcissus poeticus last year. Is this a 9W-GWP or is it a 3W-WWP Intermediate?
I’d really love to hear what others think! Please do look up the genealogy in DaffSeek as it may have some bearing on your response. I know that if “it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck” etc., etc. however…… what exact kind of “duck” is this and what justifies it to be so??????
I personally miss the older phrase “without admixture of other” formerly used for Div. 9.
