Shows

Ted,

I took interest in your post
where
you said that when you were gone there was no one to carry on your daffodil show in Clinton, MS. But you will be back up and running a show in 2015.

It makes me feel better now because I no longer think I’m the “lone wolf.”

Like you, if I were not here this daffodil show in Barco, NC would not happen.
I have been trying for years to develop someone else with interest enough in daffodils to get them to step up, but so far no such luck.

We are currently planning our 8th annual daffodil show for March 2015. We have made some recent gains in interest, but it seems for each step forward we slide a half step and sometimes a full step backwards.

Well, I hope to do this for another 10 years and then I’ll be 80 something. Maybe I can get Ceci in Gloucester to become interested in our show now that Gloucester has canceled it’s show. I loved to go to Gloucester show. I was a lot of fun and there is a lot of things to do in Gloucester, “if you like plants.”
