Hi Daffnetters,
Couldn’t resist taking this photo on my way to work on Friday (in the rain). Our local Victoria Esplanade has a wealth of wonderful garden areas, including the N.Z. Rose Trial Grounds, hosts of beautiful rhodendrons, magnolias, camelias, etc. etc., walking/cycling tracks through bush down to the river, and a miniature railway winding its way around the area.
Palmerston North was host to the 2004 North Island National Daffodil Show – and will be again in 2010, in conjunction with the N.Z. Orchid Society.
