Such a good Regional Newsletter!

I thoroughly enjoyed, on a snowy icy morning, reading the Pacific Region’s newsletter edited by RVP Margaret Oberg. This Region always has a great set of informative Newsletters. I was especially impressed with a two-pronged project featured in this issue–a series on the history of the local societies within the region, and a call for facts and memories of those Societies which used to be a vital part of ADS and the Pacific Region, but no longer exist. I hope that all of the Regions will take this as a goal for 2014: to preserve the records of the current local societies, and collect memories of the groups that once were a vital part. I am sure Margaret would share this current Pacific Newsletter with any group who wants to see and maybe emulate it.

  1. Loyce and all,

We are fortunate and grateful to have very good “keepers” of our history in the West.

You can find the current Pacific Region newsletter and other ADS Region newsletters in DaffLibrary.org under ADS Regional Newsletters.   A big thank you goes out to members of  these regions for contributing their earlier ADS Region Newsletters.  If you would like to donate your region or local newsletters, please contact Mary Lou Gripshover or myself using DaffLibrary’s contact form.
