This was sent to me a number of years ago as Link 31, serotinus x viridiflorus. After blooming this and op seedlings of it, and seeing no evidence of viridiflorus, have come to the conclusion it is straight serotinus. What do you think Harold, Marilynn? Certainly not anything like your Green Gosling, Harold.

This is something that has been in cultivation in Southern California
a long time. I first saw it about 30+ years ago. I am not sure what
it is. It was called serotinus then but is definitely not the true N.
serotinus. I wonder if it is a yellow form of N. miniatus but the
corona looks strange.
