Twink 4Y-O

Dear All,
As you will see from the picture of Twink, it has yellow
perianth not white as shown in the original picture sent to daffnet.
If that is correct, I’m afraid my good friend Steve has just ended
his career of judging Historic Daffodils.

If you look closely at the original picture you will see it has a
faint rim of deeper orange.
I’m aware that flowers from the hotter regions of the USA bleach out
in the sun but even if that is so I do not believe it is Twink .
If we accept that the flower is bleached out it could be Glowing
Phoenix 4Y-O which does show a little deeper shade of Orange at the
edges of the inner segments.

The unknown example was one which was brought to me for identification
but which could not do, but it is White Orange with the deeper orange
colouring to the edge!

Not sure at all if any of that will be helpful but gives something to
think about!
