This has been a late season in the central region. My parents place had flowers until the 15th of June in Upper Michigan. John Reed collected his last seedpods last week in waist high weeds. It seems the shade slowed their ripening. The last of my seedpods were gathered June 30 Here in Minnesota. These were from some late poets and one Quickstep seedling. This was an odd year with ample water underground, but no rain to speak of for the last month.
