We visited here on the 18th April 2007. This centre was an amazing recreation of life at the time of the great migration to the New World. (My Maguire forebears chose NZ). It contains static displays as well as complete homes to explore. (I think the last cottage was shipped back from USA.) In my view the best exhibits were not allowed to be photographed and these were the quilts. Enjoy your visit here too.

    Thank you so much for all the lovely photos, on a dreary day here in Florida, which is unusual, lots of rain today and a tornado warning.
    But still better than the below 0 degrees F temperatures they are having up north; and snow in Atlanta!!
    At least we don’t have to shovel our precipitation!
