A little birdie who’s rather computer illiterit asked me to ask:
Have folks who grow N. italicus noticed variability in it, and if so, what sort of differences and triggered by what factors?
Blanchard’s description is silent on the topic, i think -?
Is there variability in total floret size, if so under what general conditions (small bulbs, too much shade, too much cold at the wrong time), variability in petal shape (not so narrowly oblong but more rounded), shorter petals (so cup the same size but petals shorter, vs. whole thing being smaller)….
Any two cents’ observations very much appreciated….
