Very warm in NZ

Hi Daffnetters

I’m sorry to read of the low temperatures especially as we’re experiencing unusually high humid temperatures here in Wellington NZ. – 20 – 26’C (c72 -75 ‘ F). I cannot remember such a summer in 30 years here.
Our nation is in mourning for a very special man – an explorer, Sir Edmond Hillary, who was the first to climb Everest in 1953, cross the Antarctic, jet boat up the Ganges River etc. and who went on to organise schools and hospitals for the Sherpa people of Nepal and to become High Commisioner in India. His state funeral is today. For those who have visited NZ, his photo is on our $5.00 note.An approachable down to earth man, we will all miss him very much.

That temperature sounds delightful to me.  Almost perfect in fact.  Hot here (Washington DC) means 95 degrees F and humid.  Yuk!
Kathy who is very cold at the moment.

Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.
