Ridiculous Aer Lingus Flight shedule changes

All,
Please pardon this message on Daffnet for those coming to the World Convention in Northern Ireland and progressing to Holland. Several were planning to stay in Omagh after the Farewell Dinner and visit the next morning before taking the Aer Lingus flight from the International Airport at 5.30pm. This flight has now been changed to 6.55am which would seriously upset plans – what a way to treat customers!!!
For what it is worth, I suggest cancelling the Aer Lingus Booking and try Easyjet.com which has a flight No. 6775 Dep 18.55 Arr. Amsterdam 21.25. There is no seat allocation on this flight but if you like to try the Speedy boarding option (£30 extra I think) you will board early and have a wide choice of seats. The downside is later arriving in Amsterdam but the upside is that there will be more time for relaxed visiting. There should still be courtesy coach service to the hotel In Amsterdam which is only a short distance away.
I trust Ben and Nancy will forgive this use of daffnet and that those not yet booked to travel may yet consider doing so before the deadlines.
