Storms

Those of you in Arkansas, Alabama and West and Middle Tennessee, please let us know how you are.  I am in East Tennessee and we only received a lot of rain and some wind.
It seems that every year our conversations are about weather almost as much as daffodils!!

  1. Things are all fine here in NW Alabama today…a beautiful breezy cool 51F and finally the ground is back to normal for a few days.
Also the N. pseudonarcissus are blooming…let spring begin!

  2. I haven’t heard of any damage from anyone I know, though I’m sure you’ve all seen on the news the awful results of the storms in several southern states. The tornado siren two houses down from our house went off a couple of times. My husband was on his HAM radio with all the Williamson county HAM group, something they do as a part of our county’s emergency services, so we had a good idea where things were happening. My friend in Hernando said she didn’t know of any damage in Hernando, but that Southaven (across the Mississippi border from Memphis) was hit hard and the Hickory Ridge Mall in east Memphis damaged with many huge trees down, and I’m sure on the news you’ve seen the others places badly hit.
