North Texas like most of the rest of the Country has had a a late winter. Monday night, after thunderstorms and damaging wind Sunday night, the Dallas area had snow(up to 6 inches in some areas). Yesterday, we had an afternoon snowstorm dumping as much in 9 inches just northwest of Dallas. A quick survey revealed that the major exhibitors did not have enough flowers to warrant a show, so we had no choice but to cancel.
I think this is the third or fourth time we’ve had to cancel in the last 25 years. Probably not a bad record given the volatility of Texas weather this time of year.
