Midwest Daffodil Society Board Meeting

This pic shows our Board just prior to a pre-meeting lunch yesterday.

The daffs were the first in Illinois for 2008, purchased at Trader Joe’s for $1.50 apiece. They were tight buds which spent the night under a bare bulb, getting ready for the meeting. Note that they were awarded an Honorable Mention.

    I gave an after-dinner daffodil talk to the Welsh Society last night. They had pots of forced Tete-a-Tete on the tables and they didn’t look nearly as good as your blooms, George.
