This pic shows our Board just prior to a pre-meeting lunch yesterday.

Shown counterclockwise from left are:
Bruce Eckersberg, Bill Hessel, Nancy Pilipuf, Pat Hessel, Al Champ, Stephanie Lindemann, Carol Champ, President and Chef Mary Dorner.

The daffs were the first in Illinois for 2008, purchased at Trader Joe’s for $1.50 apiece. They were tight buds which spent the night under a bare bulb, getting ready for the meeting. Note that they were awarded an Honorable Mention.

I gave an after-dinner daffodil talk to the Welsh Society last night. They had pots of forced Tete-a-Tete on the tables and they didn’t look nearly as good as your blooms, George.
