daffs in grid

Daff folks, does anyone have an idea where this is? This photo was in an online Webinar I attended recently on flower bulbs. I love the photo, but would hate to be the gardener!

  1. Becky,
You would have to cut the grass with scissors!!

  2. Ha! Yes, or I was envisioning some poor gardener lifting a little lawn mower over and over! Becky

  3. The House is Geeeeorgous!!! They must really like to play Chess as the Topiary Bushes are shaped like Chess pieces. FH

  4. Clay is right – You would need a scissors.  A weedwhacker is too risky as you would cut daffodil foliage, and a lawnmower would not get close enough.

Maybe, as this looks like a European estate, sheep are used as lawnmowers.  They likely wouldn’t eat the daffodils, but they might trample them.
