Indianapolis Indiana Show – Historic Single Stem Ribbon: “Camellia” – Helen Trueblood

The Single Stem Historic Ribbon was a knockout extremely large double called “camellia”. I’ve never observed this flower in the past. The judges said that there are 9 layers on this flower, and in fact, I think you can count them from the center top petal down towards the middle of the bloom. Helen said that it blooms this way every year. Exhibited by Helen Trueblood.

  1. Thankyou Tom- my 2001 list is missing all of the names in “c” and I could not identify this double-
I never would have looked in the historics! I would bet it came from Helen
