After the Lamberhust show, we met Noel Burr in Mayfield where he gave us a guided tour of the village. Then we went to his home to see his daffodils. Noel grows a very small number of daffodils. In this picture you see his complete planting. The shade cloth is necessary to protect every bloom; with so few flowers, he has to have a high percentage of undamaged flowers. Probably no one else who grows so few daffodils has won the Engleheart Cup.
