Dear All,

Turned on the Sci-Fi Channel while eating some graham crackers and peanut butter.  Pseudoscience about crystal skulls, but Altun Ha is the name of an ancient Mayan community in Belize (where daffodils don’t get vernalized).

Altun Ha was hybridized by John Pearson, who, while he was in the Brittish armed forces, was stationed in Belize.  Look up some of his other introductions for other locations in Belize that he used for names.

Many of John Pearson’s daffodils are names after locations and “Caye’s” in that part of the world where he was stationed in the British military long years ago.
