Mary Lou Gripshover posted a photo of Brian’s seedling 2885, Trigonometry x Vahu, taken at the Belfast show of the Northern Ireland Daffodil Group. I was lucky enough to see it growing in Brian’s own patch in Omagh, and here is a photo of a vase of three that Brian had on the show bench in his garden shed. It is remarkable how much Trigonometry comes through in both this cross and in 2886, Diversity x Trigonometry, whether it is the seed or pollen parent. These are a feast for lovers of pink split cups.
