Please welcome Merrill Jensen of Juneau Alaska. Merrill worked with the ADS to fill the Oregon Garden with daffodils and other plants in 2001. Merrill is now the Acquisitions and Arboretum Manager of the Jensen-Olson Arboretum (no relation) in Juneau. There are historic daffodils and iris in Alaska and from time to time, he may ask our help to identify daffodils.

Merrill was the gentleman who worked with Nancy and me ‘way back when we donated so many daffodil bulbs from God’s Awesome Acres. The members of the Oregon Daffodil Society all helped plant several thousand bulbs for the Oregon Garden, and Merrill gave us the direction to make it all happen!
