My wife Lina and I would never hesitate to put a well-grown Kokopelli in a collection of standards. It is a lovely flower and, properly placed, provides variation in size, shape and collective texture to enhance the beauty of the collection. If we’re doing a mini collection, we will not hesitate to use a Kokopelli if it doesn’t outbalance the other flowers in the collection and is as good or better than any alternative flower we might have. The emphasis is always on the overall beauty of the collection, not the individual stem.
