Greetings,
when I purchased N. cyclamineus 'Snipe' last year, there were no specific instructions for placing it. Just recently I read an article in an English magazine that stated, in general, that all cyclamineus types should be in soil that never dries out.Can anyone tell me if this is accurate? If so, I need to move mine.

Also, can anyone tell me how to make N. willkommii happy? Is it an alpine/need alpine conditions?

Thanks, in advance, for your thoughts/answers.

Vicki

    Hi Vicki,
    N. willkommii grows in Southern Spain. It need a hot dry summer to bake.

    N. wilkommii multiplies like a weed for me in Northern VA.  I am further north than Becky, but definitely a lot warmer than Vicki.  I think I remember Kathy Andersen saying it didn’t grow well for her in PA.
